Oh Maarten, you've been through a lot. I know you're not "overly christian", but I will send a prayer out to the universe for your peace of mind. You know, you're quite a survivor. It's not bad to turn to studying as a distraction- it's certainly not self-destructive. Also, your command of the English language and your talented writing blew me away!
